Queen Anne Mahagony Highboy Dresser Chest by Davis Cabinet Company in 1942

Genuine Honduras Mahogany Queen Anne Style highboy dresser chest made in 1942 by the Davis Cabinet Company in Nashville, Tennessee. Date is stamped on inside drawer and Davis label is on the back.

This beautiful piece belonged to my great aunt and has been handed down through the generations. It is in very good condition.

The highboy has 9 dovetailed drawers that slide easily with brass Chippendale style bat wing drawer pulls and sturdy Queen Anne style Cabriole legs. It has one divided drawer and an arch crown with a pretty spiral finial.

Highboy is structurally sound with a few "beauty marks"after standing for 78 years. These minor blemishes are not unusual for a piece this age. No repairs have been done or needed. Measurements: 75" Tall x 36" Wide x 22 Depth Measurements include legs and top of finial. Thank you for your interest.
