Miniature American Mahogany Classical Period (14.75tall) Chest of Drawers c1855

This is just about the best small chest we have ever had. It is American late Classical period c. It has five drawers with all the joints dovetailed. It has mahogany and white pine secondary woods.

The piece is in great original condition with just a few small veneer repairs. The top was warped so we kerf sawed the underside to flatten it (work does not show).

The drawers are veneered in crossbanded Santa Domingo mahogany. The chest is 14.75" tall x 12.75" wide x 7.5 deep.
