The chest is copied from an English antique of the mid-eighteenth century from a chest of drawers found in the Colonial Williamsburg collection. Chest features 5 dovetailed constructed graduated drawer, a top pull out slide which turns the piece into a dressing stand. These types of chest were called Bachelor's chest because of their somewhat smaller size.

The original was found in the Ewing House in Colonial Williamsburg. Condition Report: Scuffs, scratches and wear as expected with usage. Measurements: 29.75" H x 30" W x 17.5 D. Items are pre-owned and will show the usual signs of scuffs, scratches, wear and use.
