George III Mahogany Sugar Chest on Stand

The chest lacking interior dividers and with later green baize liner; later custom stand. Late 18th century, rectangular dovetailed case with hinged top, open interior with later green baize, case sides with applied wrought iron bail handles and fine chased brass escutcheon plate with urn and foliate design, now together with a later custom Hepplewhite style stand with single drawer.
