French Mahogany & Marble Antique Lingerie Chest or Semainier #46088. A seven drawer lingerie chest or "semainier" has one drawer for each day of the week and cherub mounts on its corners. French antique 1910 period furniture. Mahogany with elm burl & inlaid banding. Old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish. Minor dings, losses, & shrinkage separations from age - see photos. Ornate brass hardware is original. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints.

Removable marble top has been polished & sealed for protection. Size is 28" wide, 17" deep, and 53.5 tall. Please view 18 photos at full screen size for best detail. We only send one driver out West (AZ, CA, CO, ID, KS, MT, NE, ND, NM, NV, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA and WY). Large pieces will require physical help from the homeowner to unload in these states.
