English Antique Georgian Period Chest of Drawers Bedroom Dresser Nightstand

This beautiful two over two drawer mahogany dresser is a Georgian period antique from England. All four drawers open and close easily. There are locks on each drawer but no key remains. The brass plate back handles are probably not original, but are not new either. The simple design is accented with a fluted molding around the top and simple bracket feet.

It's a great size for a variety of places in the home and would make a good nightstand. The condition remains very good with the following cosmetic issues. There are small age separations to both sides and two small ones on the top. These are cosmetic phenomenon common in solid wood antique furniture and do not affect the structural integrity of the piece. The top has minor marks, stains, and a slight black ring mark.

These are not particularly detracting, and serve as character for the piece. We've included close ups of the top. Normal minor wear marks exist here and there. The middle drawer as a small veneer patch on the bottom left corner of the front. Finally, the back has a hole where a knot came out at some point.
