Offered for your consideration is this Antique 1800's Flame Mahogany Mortuary Entrance Donation Chest/Dresser with Locking Key. It also has recessed / picture frame sides. The original deep rich exterior color and vibrant cherry interior is a sweet contrast. It measures 57-1/2" high x 42" wide x 23-3/4 deep. Height to the first top surface is 45. There are some character blemishes (some flaking) mainly on the supports under each of the large drawers and a bruise / blemish on the right of the bowed hidden drawer. A wood stain touched to the flaking should remedy this if it is distracting. This is a very heavy, well made piece that has held thousands of cards filled with love, compassion and sympathy over the years.
