Parquet top with cross banded veneer deep deep gadrooned edges above seven accessory drawers all having dovetail joints and cock beaded fronts as well as brass pulla several of the drawers have felt lined in inserts. Multiple sized drawers make this piece functional and adaptable. Egg and dart decoration above heavily carved apron with C-scroll and foliate design. Standing on fluted Marlborough legs and ending in block feet. A gorgeous piece full of great details. Originally intended for use a silver chest in the dining room it could also used in the bedroom or dressing for organizing jewelry or ladies delicates.
