Circa 1825 carved Federal chest. Eastern MA, probably Boston, - solid and flame mahogany, - full acanthus carved and spiral reeded columns, - leaf carved legs with ball feet, - banded inlaid panels, - two overset drawers over three full drawers, - eight c1825 original pattern glass pulls. 42" wide, 44" tall, 22 deep.

Condition - good original finish, shows some veneer pieces missing, age shrinkage crack on top (photo 12), two pieces of cockbeading are missing on middle drawers (photo 11).
