For sale is a wonderful circa 1860s American miniature salesman sample federal style mahogany two over three graduating chest of drawers. Possibly a mid Atlantic or southern chest. This is a highly collectible form. The construction is mahogany veneer over pine or poplar with all dove tail joinery.

The tall chest having age appropriate wear but overall good. The wood turned knobs being originalone chip in one knob.. The feet being original with only age appropriate wear. Great color and choice mahogany veneers. An honest original American miniature.
