Antique Inlaid Mahogany Apothecary Chest Cabinet Complete with Bottles Etc. DESCRIPTION: Here we have a wonderful antique mahogany mahogany apothecary's cabinet with box wood stringing. When the top is lifted this allows the doors to be opened to reveal two fitted doors each with seven bottle compartments and bottles and two small drawers below. Then to the rear there is a further seven bottle compartment and bottles over two drawers. The first drawer containing scales the bottom drawer is fitted with glass pestle and mortar and a measure, two glasses a funnel, a sbmall bottle with stopper and the front compartment contains sic small glass containers five of which have lids on.

DIMENSIONS: The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are: 8 inches / 20 cm wide including handles x 8 inches / 20 cm deep x 9 inches / 22.5 cm high. CONDITION: The chest is in lovely condition as can be seen from the photographs but there crack to the centre of the top, dents and scratches throughout commensurate with age and use, interior lining is worn through in places and generally worn. The bottles with some chips and loss, one bottle with stopper missing as can be seen from the photographs.
