We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful mahogany Chippendale two-piece full bonnet top chest on chest highboy that dates from the 1930s to 1940s. It is a really nice quality piece that is two pieces, to confirm the high quality. It has dove tail drawers, clam shell carved into the center drawer in the base and the very top of the cabinet, flame mahogany finials on all three finials, heavy crown molded extra deep top with bonnet sides and original brass Chippendale style hardware including knobs on the clam shell drawers. The two-piece cabinet rests on four cabriole ball and claw legs with a scallop bottom skirt. It is in a dark reddish brown stain finish with minor nicks and dings. The overall size is 39.5 inches wide on the base, 20 inches deep on the base, 37 inches high on the base, 84 inches high overall, 36 inches wide on the top cabinet and 18 inches deep on the top cabinet. The top has 7 drawers, and the bottom has 5 drawers, so there is ample space to store your items. The locks are all intact, but there is no key. The overall condition is very nice showing minor nicks and dings.
