Mahogany veneer exterior, decorated with inlaid boxwood stringing bands along the edges and an ebony rhombus to lid centre. The key escutcheon is inlaid with a quatrefoil design. Very warm rich colour and patina to the wood, with great grain particularly to the lid. Highly decorative, as well as functional box, perfect for storing jewellery.
