An antique Classical American Empire chest offers shaped backsplash with flanking spindle gallery rails over case with striated frieze panel over single deep drawer and three graduated long drawers flanked by reeded columns, raised on turned turnip feet, 19th century. Overall very good condition, tight and sturdy with age related wood splits; as photographed.
