Antique American Mahogany and Pine Hepplewhite Mule Chest of Drawers C 1800. Rare and beautiful Mule Chest With blanket chest with 2 false drawer fronts and two drawers below. Most likely made in the Mid Atlantic region. The inlay on the front of the drawers is actually painted.

A really nice overhang on the top with receding around the sides. Elegant French feet on the front with nice skirt of Cupid bow pattern.

One of the most developed mule chest I have seen. 40 wide 20 1/4 deep at top and 19 1/4 deep at case. A rare and beautiful piece of its form and design!
