Antique George III Chest of Drawers. Period : Late Georgian, circa 1800. Origin : Great Britain, likely Scotland. A rare late Georgian chest of drawers that likely comes from Scotland.

This large piece has a vibrant figured mahogany with banded inlay and pine secondary. It has small drawers over four large drawers (one very large) that are on shaped splayed feet. An imposing piece that'll look great in just the right spot. Condition : The chest is in good condition.

There are a couple age related cracks to the back boards. There has been quite a bit of restorative work done on areas of the veneer and to the drawer edges. The brass has been replaced.

There is an age related surface crack on the top. There are areas of finish discoloration and various blemishes that can be seen. There are also age related cracks and gaps to the drawer bottoms.
