Antique 19th Century Federal Chest of Drawers Shipping Available

Antique Federal Chest of Drawers. This mahogany chest of drawers dates from right around the turn of the 19th Century. It has a classic design for the Federal period with four graduated, chamfered drawers over a shaped apron and splayed feet (showing the French influence at the time). You'll also notice on the pic that the top drawer (and the second drawer) have had little removeable wooden dividers put in place. These could easily be removed if you're bothered by them.

Condition : The chest of drawers is in very good condition. There have been some topical repairs to the veneer and to a couple of the feet, but it's nothing major.

There is an old repair near the keyhole on the second drawer that's noticable in the pics. The piece has been refinished at some point. The brass has been replaced.

There is no key and the status of the locks is not known. There are other minor scratches, cracks, dents, and dings that one would expect to find on a genuine piece of the this age.
