Antique George III Chest on Chest. This handsome chest on chest is a classic late 18th Century delight with its molded and Greek key dentilled cornice above two short and three long graduated drawers, the lower part comprising three long graduated drawers, on bracket feet.

These characteristics, along with warm, rich color, make this chest on chest a magnificent item that will make quite an impression to anyone and in any room. This piece is in very good condition. There is one very small piece of loss to the cornice.

There are shrinkage related cracks to both sides. These are stable and no need for concern. There is some uplift to the veneer on the sides. This has also been stabilized but is noticeable.

The brass is not original. There are other minor scrapes, dents, dings, gouges, and surface imperfections as one would expect to find on a genuine piece of this age. I'm happy to provide additional photos, please ask.
