A George III English Mahogany Chest on Chest High Gentleman's Dresser 19th C

Rare size and proportions to this antique English chest on chest. Nice low wide size to allow for use of top surface while also allowing deep drawers for maximum storage.

Has been in my personal collection since that time, always a favorite piece. Probably restored in the 1990s, received a French polish at that time.

Deep tones to the finish and grain to the mahogany are two of the highlights. Condition: Some losses to the finish. Some of the brass hardware is original, while others have been replaced. The bail on the lower drawer has a break, but I recently found a similar bail replacement. Measurements: 61"h x 44"w x 21.5d.
