1940s Vtg Chippendale Ball Claw Feet Lowboy Mahogany Chest of Drawers Dresser

I have up for sale a nice vintage original circa 1940s or there about American made Chippendale Style Ball & Claw Foot Mahogany 3 drawer chest of drawers Lowboy Dresser. No maker , but a good quality piece - reminds me of furniture made by the Mahogany Association Inc.

The chest stands approx 33-1/2" tall, approx 36" across the top and approx 21-1/4 deep at the top surface. The inside of the drawers are approx 31" wide, 15-5/8" front to back , and 3-12" tall for the top drawer, 4-1/4" for the middle drawer, and 5-1/4 for the bottom drawer. The chest is solid and sturdy , the drawers slide easily , albeit the top has lots of light surface wear.

The top should be refinished but if you are not fussy , you could simply cover it with a runner or use it the way it is. There are scratches, scuffs, areas of finish wear, etc. I have a hauler that is located in the Chicago area, they cover the mid west and go out to the East Coast.

The top surface has lots of usage wear. It would be a good candidate to be refinished. The finish on the main body and legs has areas of wear.
