With our highest compliments we're pleased to offer for sale this absolutely wonderful 18th century William & Mary herringbone inlay flat top highboy on a complex 6 legged tapered trumpet leg base. This is a desirable 2 over 3 classic Boston format. Each drawer is decorated with herringbone inlay and cock bead molded faces.

The hand cut brass teardrop pulls and escutcheon plates are old and correct. The base is admittedly our favorite component of this piece especially the tapered trumpet legs and the Gothic style cut outs further accented with cock bead molding. We note the mid molding has been replaced, it's very well done in the correct fashion. Remnants of the original paper liner can be seen on the top.
