Georgian Mahogany 3-Drawer Miniature Chest Salesman Sample

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a wonderful Georgian Period English mahogany miniature 3-drawer chest or salesman's sample, c. This nice chest is decorated with a lighter wood banding around the drawers, kite escutcheons, dovetailed drawers and scalloped skirt. The small turned wood knobs are original to the chest and each drawer has a brass lock mechanism although we do not have the original key. This is one of the finest miniature furniture pieces I have seen both in quality and condition.

Measures 10 1/4" high, 12 1/2" wide and 6 deep. This unusual little treasure is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws other than a small air bubble in the veneer on the top of the chest although the veneer is not split or cracked.

Other than this one area, the piece reflects only minor signs of normal wear. Have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible.
