Antique George III Chest of Drawers. Period : Late Georgian, circa 1800. This George III period mahogany serpentine chest has a figured top above four long graduated drawers with original brass handles on elegant original splayed feet with a charming shaped apron. The dimensions of this piece really work well. It has very appealing, eye-catching proportions.It will absolutely fantastic in any setting. Condition : The chest of drawers is in very good condition.
There is some damage to the apron on the left side near the back. It has been repaired but it is noticeable in the pics. There are various surface flaws to the top, with small losses at the edge.
There is a repaired crack on one of the back panels. There have been surface repairs made to the front right foot.
There are some small losses to parts of the draw cockbeading. There is a small area of repaired veneer on the front of the apron, but this is quite small. The brass looks to be original.
