Antique Empire Mahogany Chest of Drawers. This gorgeous Empire chest of drawers really catches the eye with its stunning figured mahogany veneer. It possesses both qualities of flame and quilted mahogany. It is unique and very charming.

The chest is a 1,2,3 chest. It has one long drawer, over two short drawers, over three long drawers. It is flanked with columnar designs that terminate over bun feet. This is a beautiful piece of early 19th Century history that can be yours today! Condition : The chest of drawers is in good condition.

Some of the drawer cockbeading has been replaced. There has been some restoration work done to the edge of the top. The top has some noticeable defects to the finish related to age and use. There is also damage to back left of the top where a small portion of the edge has been lost. Both sides have somewhat minor age related cracks, but those are stable.

There are also various minor losses to the veneer, and other dents, dings and scratches that one would expect to find on a piece of this age. Please ask if you required additional photos.
