19th Century American Miniature Salesman Sample 3 Drawer Bureau Chest. Mahogany

For sale is a wonderful antique circa 1890 miniature salesmen sample American three drawer bureau chest in a lovely medium toned mahogany veneer. This piece comes to us out of a private Long Island estate.

The chest is a mahogany veneer over pine. Pine construction to the piece with old round head nail joinery. It features brass ring pulls which appear to all be original to the piece.

This miniature chest is in overall good condition for age. There is one vertical split in the wood on the top and we have taken a close-up detail picture for your consideration.

All drawers pull out and slide in as normal. All other wear is age appropriate wear.
